Defending Manipulation

Yeah, I get it all the time “You're being manipulative!” and I can only answer “Yes, I am.”

History is filled with the white lighters and fluffy bunny types who dread to think they are being manipulative while they try to persuade. My point is that there is no difference!

The word “manipulation” has been dragged through the mud for way too long and is in need of rescue. God forbid someone like me comes to the rescue but we all know when it's time to take up a cause and this is mine.

Face it, all manipulation means is to use your intent to move something.

It doesn't mean that you'll be successful at it you just intend to move it. How is that different from “persuasion” I ask you?

“Persuasion” has a nicer tone, I'll grant you, but THE END RESULT IS THE SAME.

As long as we try to hopelessly suppress our manipulative nature we are denying something that is part of us as humans; the desire to get what we want! And the more we try to deny it the less connected we'll be with our true nature.

Don't hide the harsh reality of "manipulation" behind the curtain calling it "persuasion" and lose the deeper contact with your nature.

Go ahead.

Admit it. We are all manipulators and the only distinction between us is the level of skill we have that helps usget what we want.

That's it.

Be Proud!

Rise up!

Set yourself apart from the crowd and take hold of the helm of your life!

You are at the wheel and you must guide yourself through the opposing wishes and wants of others!

Manipulation is your engine and rudder through the obfuscating miasma of other peoples desires!
