You should have an open communication with your child in order to teach him or her how to deal with the thing at hand. According to most psychologists, a child who didn't experience speaking with their parents had more emotional issues. By talking to your child you may change their emotion into a more positive manner. As much as possible do not discuss sensitive topics if you do not have enough information about it.

Respecting your child's free will. There are times when your child wants to make a decision of their own, like what style of pants that they want to wear, which toys they want to play with and what food they would want for lunch. You want to think about your child's own thoughts and personality. Bear in mind that you have different characteristics compared to your children.

Parenting is the only profession that you can learn only from your experience and when you become exceptional at it. you need to pass along the skills you have discovered to your children when they themselves become parents.
