Girlicious Featured in Blender

By: BuddyTV

Much like their original counterparts, the Pussycat Dolls, who are currently full steam ahead promoting their new CD, the four winning ladies from Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious have also been busy advertising their own upcoming album. With the said album due out in stores July 1, the girls are making the rounds of various available media to drum up publicity for their first offering.

Helping out their cause is their recent citation as Blender.com’s Blender Breakout Artist. The girls came out in a clip for the magazine, sharing the etymology of the coined Girlicious, their experiences so far on their first concert shows and the preparation involved ahead of them.

“Girlicious is not necessarily a word,” the Girlicious four explained. “It's a lifestyle. It's about being confident; it's about being yourself; it's about standing out. It's about embracing what you have, what God gave you...About being a girl...Girl power.”

In other Pussycat news, Nicole Scherzinger has finally opened up about her relationship with Formula One racer, Lewis Hamilton.

"We've been seeing each other on and off for three months," Nicole reportedly declared of her involvement with the racer who is seven years her junior.

Her May-December romance notwithstanding, the lead vocalist of the Pussycat Dolls has given her commitment to the group’s promotional efforts for their follow-up to their eponymous smash debut album. She has reportedly put her floundering solo career on the shelf for now, in order to devote herself completely to the PCD’s cause.

“Nicole [Scherzinger] has put her solo career on hold to concentrate on PCD so it's a really important album,” Taio Cruz revealed.

The Dolls have enlisted his help to further ensure their new CD’s success. Hopefully, he can do for them and their new offering what he managed to achieve with the U.K. hit, “Come On Girl.”
