There are few weight loss programs out there that have been as successful for as long a period of time as Jenny Craig. In fact, most of the people that have been involved within the weight loss industry could probably not name another program that has been as well received or successful as the Jenny Craig program and indeed one of the reasons for that is the fact that the Jenny Craig program was one of the programs that created the initial weight loss industry. While weight loss in general has always been a big thing in the United States, Jenny Craig is directly responsible for the creation of similar industries in Oceania and Canada and of course for really solidifying the weight loss market as being one of the big markets within the United States economy.

The actual Jenny Craig program has been around since the 1990s, although at the same time Jenny Craig has been introducing weight loss programs to people and working on general nutritional concepts since the 1970s. This goes to show you just how big a deal the Jenny Craig program has been since it has been around for more than a decade (something that is relatively rare in the weight loss world of one hit wonders) and it is based on techniques that have been around for more than three decades. It is this long history of success that is the main selling point for the Jenny Craig diet and it is also the reason that many people have a high positive attitude going into Jenny Craig weight loss.

The actual program itself is relatively simple and it combines the eating of certain foods with an exercise program that is supposed to shave off a number of pounds each week. The food is made by Jenny Craig and it is a diet that is controlled by the number of calories that you take in each day. This means that you can actually eat whatever you want on this diet for the most part, so long as you control the amount of calories that you end up taking into your system. The Jenny Craig foods are all extremely delicious and represent some of the most delicious food around, but they also help you control your intake and for that reason is a big part of the Jenny Craig program. The combination of the Jenny Craig food and the Jenny Craig fitness creates a weight loss program that is extremely hard to beat.
