Life without sex is just not worth living

By: spiceday

Pia share is more of an excuse for them to get together, away from their husbands and children, and enjoy all the gossip going around town. These women are also all sworn members of a secret society called the Thaksin Fan Club. They have erasable tattoos of Thaksin on their shoulders, concealed from sight by their clothes.

Naengnoi: My god, what has gone wrong with our dear prime minister? I could not believe my ears when I heard him speak at the event to kick of his campaign over the weekend that he had no time for sex because he had been working so hard during the past couple of years.

Saraphee: Did he say that he had no time for sex, or did he say that he no longer had any sexual appetite? You have to be careful about semantics.

Sopha: I think both of you have got it all wrong. The prime minister clearly used the phrase “bo mee haeng” (no strength), which is from the Isaan dialect. It implies that he might have time for sex and might still have an appetite for sex, but he has lost his sexual prowess, or bo mee haeng.

Ngarmta: Oh, what have the busy schedule and the burden of the highest office done to our dear prime minister? Life without sex is not worth living.

Hathai-chanok: Don’t sound so pessimistic. He might only have wanted to make an excuse for his recent poor performance.

Saraphee: All the talk about the prime minister’s kha long (dwindling popularity) because of the bird flu, the southern unrest, the conflicts of interest, the high oil prices and the economic slowdown is unfair. These are factors beyond his control. And now people are adding his bo mee haeng for sex to the general climate of his kha long.

Ngarmta: I see no point in the prime minister running for another four years in office if it means paying the dear price of losing his sexual prowess.

Sopha: I am inclined to think like you. He declared a war against poverty and prevailed. He declared a war against drugs and prevailed. He declared a war against corruption and has also prevailed. Ironically, he is losing the war against his body.

Naengnoi: I am not sure about our leader’s job approval rating. I also wonder whether the voting public would tie his performance in office to his performance in bed.

Saraphee: If that is the case – and I pray that it is not – then he might lose a lot of votes in the upcoming election.

Hathai-chanok: As the old saying has it, men only desire three things in life – money, power and sex. But life is not perfect. Some people have money and sex, but they don’t have power. Some have sex, but they don’t have money or power. Some have power, but they don’t have sex and money. Many people have assumed that the prime minister is perfect because he has money, power and sex all at the same time. I am not sure whether he will be less perfect now after having confessed to bo mee haeng.

Naengnoi: He should not have made this confession, though we have to admit that he is a sincere man. He just wanted to tell the truth about himself.

Ngarmta: I have a confession to make too. My husband appears to have contracted Thaksin flu. And after listening to our conversion, I have come to the conclusion that the best thing that a man can do is hold on to sex – not money or power.

Saraphee: I agree with you, Ngarmta. Life without sex is not worth living.
