Take the Best Decisions Related To Your Relationship

By: Marius Gherghinescu

Do you think it's time to fall in love? Make sure you do it right. Maybe the next tips are known by everybody but sometimes there is a need to meditate at them again. What follows is for both men and women.

1. If your relationship started as a love-affair involving cheating, you need to answer this question: ''What if my partner does the same? '' You shouldn't expect a serious relationship with somebody who is not committed from the very beginning. Of course there are exceptions but if he/she likes love-affairs, do not expect changes.

2. If your partner has a child from a previous relationship and is not in close contact with his child, you need to investigate before sinking deeper into this relationship. If the other parent keeps the child away from your lover it may be for a good reason.

3. A child will not save or improve a relationship. If you want to have a child do this because you want to have one, because you are convinced you can offer a nice future to him/her, a nice home and family. It would be selfish to do this to save yourself from loneliness or to blackmail your partner with the child, hoping things will change for the better.

4. Not everyone is made to be a parent and not all people have the necessary skills. There isn't a shame to be childless. Society is not entitled to be judgmental

5. If you marry somebody who already has a child, the best attitude would be to treat the child as yours. If you marry a parent you need to become a parent too.
