For any relationship to work you have to have some important and necessary emotions for them to work. Here are actually twelve of them that are needed. Number one of course is trust. If this emotion gets damaged even a little, your relationship could start to suffer. Of course you will need to love this person if this is a relationship leading to marriage. If this relationship is one of friendship then you need to like this person. Then there is understanding, caring, honesty, respect, patience, honor, loyalty and then the thoughtfulness and security. With any of the relationships you get into, you will need each and everyone of them.

This is why in any relationship you need to work at keeping them safe. There are so many ways a relationship of yours can start having problems. These problems can start by your own doubt or things your friends tell you. It is also important for you to have enough respect and understanding of this person to not believe everything you hear as truth. You never want to go after someone out of anger as you will usually only end up making things a lot worse. If you find yourselves in an argument try to do this in private so no one else gets involved. Having someone else in this argument will only make a small problem so much bigger.

No matter how hard you try to keep this argument small you could end up in a really big fight. This fight might end up coming to blows because one or all of you will get hurt emotionally. No relationship needs fighting but it is something that happens all of the time. The caring or love in any relationship can take some bumps with ways to fix them. It is also very important to be honest with all involved in this relationship as well. You also need to remember that all of these emotions must be carried by everyone involved in this relationship or it will not last.

In any relationship it is referred to as a two way street. Treat this other person in this relationship as you would want to be treated. It is equally important that you have understanding in regards to what you each want out of this relationship especially if you are thinking about marriage. You will both need to sit down and talk over each item you think you want. You will both need to find out what the other wants first. If for any reason you can not agree on a lot of the items you both discussed then marriage might not be the way to go.
